Fiona, Baroness Montagu of Beaulieu, (born Fiona Herbert) married Edward Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 3rd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu, of the elite Montagu family, itself being part of the elite Scottish “Scot” Clan). The earliest mention of the Scot bloodline is of Uchtred 'Filius Scott', in a charter from around 1120. The family played major roles in the Wars of Scottish Independence, Wars of the Three Kingdoms, and the Jacobite rising of 1745. The Scot Clan was a prominent military and political family.

Fiona Lady Montagu of Beaulieu, born in Zimbabwe, was a Director of Beaulieu Enterprises Ltd and a Trustee of The Countryside Education Trust for over 40 years. In China in 2013, she extolled the virtues and importance of education on an English Country Estate. She was appointed as first Global Ambassador of The Club of Budapest. She passed away in 2023.
