HOW ABOUT DISABLING IT YE FUCKING ZOOMER RETARD

Method 1: Using Control Panel

Press Windows + S, type Control Panel, and open it.

Set View by to Small icons or Large icons.

Click File History.

If it’s turned on, you’ll see a Turn off button — click it.

That’s it! File History will stop backing up your files.
Method 2: Using Group Policy (for Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions)

Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc, and hit Enter.

Navigate to: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File History

Double-click Turn off File History.

Select Enabled, then click OK.

This disables the feature system-wide.
Method 3: Using the Registry (for all editions)

Press Windows + R, type regedit, and press Enter.

Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory

If the FileHistory key doesn’t exist, right-click Windows, choose New > Key, and name it FileHistory.

In the right pane, right-click and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Name it Disabled and set its value to 1.

Restart your PC to apply the change.
