Please tell the Almanci. Most of them are cool, but to many here grow up and get the typical diaspora sickness of being more conservative than people at home and equate islam with being turkish hard. Thus they vote Erdogan in your elections and the funding for the local mosques by your government sometimes ends in "interesting" hands.
All of course WAY less of an issue than with the new arrivals, but still.
