A world where Hitler wins but the economic fallout of total war exists? I'd almost think Britain would be forced into a ceasefire before following a similar route to today but requiring military service in exchange for citizenship, less liberal reforms, and the Commonwealth might be a bit more tightly linked, if smaller.
France would be smaller (obviously) but would be a lot more vitriolic and might push for WWIII before the proliferation of the bomb in a much more economically damaged Europe.
I assume Poland would bear the fate of most historic genocides like the Armenians or the Bantu expansion.

I don't think that'd be much trouble for the average American citizen. The actual cold war wasn't, nor is the propaganda today. And I'd expect Germany to collapse sooner than the Sovs did. Japan definitely wouldn't have survived this alt history thoughtpiece.
