I haven't got around to reading that Noticer article yet. Is it regarding this story that was on mainstream news?

I believe Cannington is okay. All places have got their pro's and con's.
Pro's is that whole area (including Vic Park) is pretty dense with asians and their "life style", so lots of restaurants and stuff along Albany Hwy. Also Carousel shops is massive and has all sorts of attractions. It's not far from the city, so Uber should be <$20, or you can catch the train.
Con's is that it's a bit of a concrete jungle (old and dense), and it's also a bit far inland, so it will be hot in the summer. And I think there's a bit of Abo problem in the area (including nearby places like Willeton and Bentley).
It was only back in 2022 when picrel woman was in her car and copped a brick to the head and died. It was thrown through an open window by one of those youths you hear about on bail. FYI - That shopping center is in only a few kilometers from Cannington!
