Oh, now I remember why original Wan was slopped too. It's because Wan was trained by this guy http://civitai.com/user/LEOSAM
While it's not fully slopped like Flux, it's still only producing film like images, because that's all that guy trains. Hence the baked in film grain. But it's still not as realistic as Chroma. Biases for any kind of style have been entirely removed from Chroma, so it's more flexible. And it being an image gen model it won't default to images in motion right away, though I can see that 2.2 helps a ton with that.
