Sailor who's finally getting my shit together and have an actual aspiration and goal to strive towards now (aspiring Mate, possibly Master, seeking to get my licenses within the next couple years). Work in dredging so I'm away from home more than half the year. I live in the desert but work on the water. You'll find that I'm a man of many contradictions. Previous college grad with degrees in accounting as well. If I could have both, I would love to be both a sailor and a busker, but I ended up having to choose the former more than the latter since it actually pays, only doing the latter when I'm at home. I'm very contemplative and introspective, and love deep intellectual stimulation through clever wordplay and wit. You'll find that once you get to know me, I love a good laugh and will have you laughing frequently in between serious discussions.

I choose to sail not for the money necessarily (though the money is quite nice), but because I love the sea, and find it unfathomably deep in its mysteries and perils, and unknown in all its possibilities. I view music the same way. Seemingly soft as water, but capable of tremendous force to both soothe and destroy.

Went through a deeply traumatic past 4 years of which I am finally crawling out of now.
