The writers had *every* opportunity to build on their past and make it a sorrowful reunion of past friends turned enemies. They didn't. They tease it a little bit, but ultimately it isn't enough to sway either of them. In fact, Rover is committed to seeing her as an enemy. Even Frog is more reluctant to hostility than Rover.

I'm sorry to anyone who was a Frogfag. She's not meta, she needs a specific team and her sig, and she reaches a bitter end, killed by the last person who could have seen her as more than a tool to further their own ends or a heartless monster. We truly lost this one.
