I agree that the timing was great but I think the mounting hatred towards Pirate over the WoW raid, false DMCA, girlfriend abuse etc. lent a lot of weight to Ross's rebuttal against him now.
Many of the videos made about SKG in the last week have become a call to action out of spite.
