I think research trees end up being way too bloated
I don't hate custom races having their own clothes/gear that needs researching, especially with that mod that opens HARshit race gear to everybody
I like it when for technology specific runs, like medieval overhaul making medieval runs more indepth because you'd otherwise be done researching everything before winter
