I went into it originally with something like your experience as my expectation, for better or for worse. I don't particularly mind using a guide, but I try not to if I can help it. Even though I could help it, and still used it to help me with a riddle door that fooled me. It's been pretty friendly to me thus far. We'll see how I fare
