In my experience praying for other people works more often than praying for yourself. Many people for whom I've prayed for faith or other kind of help have received it soon afterwards. More than 50% I think. Yet I keep being a chronically sick, existentially lost NEET in spite of praying for health and guidance. There is beauty in that though, even if it's difficult to accept.
