I do not hate Undertale. I don't know anything about it and I don't want to. I hate the phenomenon of constantly hearing about it. If I can thank Toby Fox for one thing, it's pointing out that this game is actually 10 years old.
Ten years. Ten fucking years of constantly hearing about this fucking thing I give zero fucks about. I am not one of those people who buys games and regrets it. The games I love, I saw one trailer, knew I was gonna love it, bought it, played it, loved it, still fucking love it. I have never experienced a good game from people telling me over and over "Oh dude you have to try this thing, just give it a chance." I have fucking tried giving things a chance. If something looks gay and unfun, it IS gay and unfun. If it quacks like a faggot, it is a faggot. And any game I thought looked gay and unfun at first glance, usually is. So I have stopped trying things that don't immediately interest me. Not even if some other people, or insufferable swathes of people, for ten years straight, keep fucking telling me to play it.
No. Fuck you. Fuck everyone of you people who tell people to "just try some game" that looks like shit to them when they watch a trailer. Just accept that person probably would think the game sucks and feel like they wasted time after playing it. That's how I felt every time after trying some gay looking game people told me to "just give a try". So that is why I have such a relentlessly hatred of Undertale fans, but no hard feelings whatsoever to the game itself or Toby Fox himself.
