>Help Evelyn.
Hermione dabs at Evelyn’s wound with her handkerchief as the girl sobs, hugging her tightly, shaking. The bite went fairly deep. It almost seemed like it’d been from a wild animal.
“…Thank you, Hermione, thank you so much…” The girl is terrified. “Please don’t let go, please…” She’s muttering apologies and thanks in a loop, clearly in shock.
“Shh. It’s alright, Rivers. I won’t let go. You’re okay now.” Hermione rubs her back gently, as she continues to clean the wound with the handkerchief. “Help is on the way.”
“Thank you… thank you so much…”
Eventually, someone returns with the first aid kit, and Hermione steps away. She exhales. This was why one should never interact with commoners. You never knew what those barbaric peasants would do.
Her entrance had been a resounding success. The uglies had performed admirably in their task, and Hermione was the grand hero. Even now, Evelyn is glancing at her with grateful eyes, before being taken away to have her wound more closely examined. Hermione could hardly hold back her smile. What a fortunate set of events. The next school-year was already looking to be quite promising, indeed. A marvelous happenstance.
Her attention turns to the commoner on the floor. Evelyn’s attacker is sobbing, hugging her knees tightly as she lays curled up on the tile floor. Tch. Disgusting.
