Did the gpt-4chan cancer start with him? I don't remember much botposting prior to him. In retrospect, it's pretty clear the jannies were allowing him to run the LLM and test it on here. They now have bots that instantly reply to certain keywords, one of them is anything related to "Happening" you'll instantly get hit with "nothing ever happens" or some variation of it, it's pretty clearly not human. But that's just one example, the entire catalog is manufactured now, and they're able to hide/bury threads and stop them from gaining traction.
