Some of the things that caught my eye

1. You build a mall in a city, with different shops and stuff, you can decide where the stores go, and the mall's success looks to dictate the number of settlers in the city. You can also meet other players in the city, and allow them to visit your "neighourhood".

2. You do have your own "neighourhood" that acts as your "town" so to speak, where you can do the decorating and terraforming things, and you go to work for the mall while improving your own area to make it "nice for villagers" to move to. It uses a grid format to place things with the mouse.

3. The interesting and only other thing is you can visit random dream islands from acnh, and do "side hustles" there, there is also manually generated offline ones though.

There are other small things like QoL on crafting and Cooking, but that is all that is known, for now.
