On a personal note a lot of Lia, even for me, takes multiple viewing and outside contexts to understand what she is presenting and how she plays with the tropes and narratives that she choses to work with. The premier viewing of Konton Boogie I couldnt even properly engage, I missed it, busy with the demands of life, I had to scrub back to watch it once I realized it was over. My immediate reaction watching the pitch perfect Lia production was literal shivers. Everything about it just felt perfect. Seeing the song name recommendation and digesting the lyrics now though perfectly reveal the intent behind her conduct leading up to the performance and retroactively enrich the value of her disclosures. Seeing the way Lia has conducted herself for OffKai Gen4 and the sound marketing quality of her lead up to the convention that creates the perfect dissonance (central to the Lia(Malware) narrative) between self defeat and hope afforded to her by her company mates and corporate marketing. It really is a masterclass in sad girl marketing creating a complex emotional buy in to an asset that has been a sultry slow burn out of the false starts of her conception.
