I inherited wealth in the form of a trust operated family perpetuity set up by my great grandparents secretly, that paid out when I graduated from university.
Paid off all my student debt, and provided me with roughly 100k to invest as I saw fit (it scales with inflation apparently). My own father played stupid like he had no idea it existed, but finally told me when I had my own son. He said he was leaving a sizable portion of his wealth to it, and told me to not tell my deadbeat sister anything. I will be leaving my wealth as well as keeping my sister and son in the dark.
