Genuinely one of the worst written CRPG companions of all time. And probably the worst Eldar I've ever seen in 40K, too, if you can even call her an Eldar. It feels like the author who wrote her read some cliffs notes version of CW Eldar, if that, then wrote the character. Yrliet is absolute trash as a result, and of course, even beyond the Eldar stuff, she's just bad in general.
The game feels significantly better if you just kill her on Janus when meeting her. Pretty impressive that Owlcat could create a character that actually actively makes the story worse if they're around, but they managed it. And it's absolutely not just because she's a Xenos, since Marazhai was written just fine.
