>Talk about it.
Clover looks away. “…what isn’t wrong, is the better question…”
Even though she’s mumbling, the white-haired girl seems to have no problem understanding her.
“there’s some murderer running around… there are people in black suits trying to get me… and…” The wolf-girl sniffles. “…and no matter how hard i try, everyone ends up leaving…”
“Mm.”
Clover hides her face in her knees, gripping her ears tightly. She starts to sob. “t-they all hate me, and i can’t figure out why!”
The girl lets her cry. When the tears finally slow, she speaks. “Why do you think they hate you?”
Her light and airy voice is starting to get a little annoying. Clover shakes, gripping her ears tighter. “because they keep leaving!”
“No, no, not that.” The white-haired girl tilts her head, curious. “Why would they hate you? What reasons would they have?”
“…” Clover lets go of her ears, loosely wrapping her arms around her knees again. She rocks back and forth slowly. “…because i’m a dumb autist… and mess everything up… and everything always goes wrong…”
“Do you think that’s true?”
“…” Clover doesn’t respond.
“Then you already know what to work on!” The girl reaches out, gently wiping away a few of Clover’s tears. “You can’t control what anyone else does, or what they think of you, but you can control yourself! If you become a person that can overcome those problems, then they won’t have any reason to hate you! Even if you fail, if you tried your best, that’s nothing to scoff at!”
