You angle a little more towards the south now, keeping the Divide to your right as you fly over the scrub land, the bulk of Lake Clarity glittering to the south east like a dark blue sapphire in the late morning sun.
Beneath you, the scrub beneath you looks rough and wild, clearly having been influenced by much stronger pokemon than those you'd encountered closer to the road.
The wind is still helping you along, but it's getting stronger now as you're closer to the front and you can see flocks of Mareep and its evolved forms gathering in meadows of fresh winter grass in anticipation of the storm blowing in from the east.
It makes the storm you sheltered on once you left Route 1 look like a minor squall up here and you can already see curtains of rain falling underneath it.
You're making really good time though, even if you're freezing cold, even with the extra layers and your coat from the freezing wind whipping by you.
You can only imagine Holly, Gareth and Martha are as cold as you are.
Still, However cold it is right now, it'll get an awful lot worse if you get caught by the storm and the winds are starting to get rough.
Rascal seems tireless though, riding the choppy wind seemingly without much effort, despite the fact you've been in the air for about five hours or so now.
At this rate, you figure you'll be back in Greenshoot before dark, but insofar as beating the weather is concerned... It's going to be tight.
>Roll +5, DC 60 (+5 for Rascal being Large, +5 for Martha's coaching +5 for Martha's leading and experience, +5 for riding a tailwind, -5 for Rascal's inexperienced -5 the wind is starting to get rough. Overlevel negated due to Rascal respecting Alex.)
