Tinder attracts three kinds of people in my experience, and 2/3 are terrible.
>Socially awkward people who can't date irl
These are the worst people and the majority of men on tinder. They have limited social skills and no desire to improve them. They are low value and don't want to change. They want to date but can't figure out the basics, despite the internet having a lot of good dating advice.
They don't go out to bars, clubs, or social events. They don't choose nice places for dates, and while they usually want a girlfriend, they can't help but try to fuck any girls who message them back.
>Lazy people looking for a hookup or to waste time
This can be a man or a woman, but it's usually a woman. These are the forever messagers. The people who say they want something serious but really just want to fuck around. Maybe that means the girl wanting to fuck guys, maybe that's the girl who wants a texting buddy, either way she's a ghost after a month.
This can also be guys who are socially stunted and ghost women but that's more rare.
>People who are genuinely too busy to date.
This is the only redeemable category, and who online dating was made for. It's the people who want to date but because of other life commitments (career, family, social, etc.). These are people who are otherwise a good catch but don't go out to events where people traditionally meet people.

Tinder is a tool, it's not good or bad, but a lot of people are using it wrong
