Super does that an awful lot, whereas Z only did it in the Buu arc, and GT in the Shadow Dragons arc. Goku and Vegeta are fan favourites, so it probably made sense to give Vegeta more screentime? I base my view on the fact that my favourite character should've received more screentime..
