I remember, hearing stories of a small group of underground Chinese Christians huddled in a basement sharing one worn and tattered Bible. Each one begging to get to have it for a few days so they can learn and have God’s word.
Each one knowing if they were caught with it, them and their families could be imprisoned or worse.
In America we throw them away when some guy at college is handing them out, or they gather dust on the coffee table and we read them maybe once or twice a year and only to hear how much God wants to bless us even tho we do nothing to obey Him or honor Him.
