I think it's just a case of older characterfags losing interest in this thread or the games over time, which is understandable when there's a three year gap between chapter releases. Plus, Chapter 3 & 4 definitely brought an influx of newfags, and new fans typically have more interest in newer characters (not that all Tennafags are new, I'm just saying).
