Is Byleth not force deployed in every mandatory mission and practically force deployed in every skirmish because of their personal? I can see the argument that for the sake of recruitment you have to stretch proficiencies thin but Enlightened One is fine and completely free.
Also while I don't disagree on Lysithea being the strongest general magic unit, it's dependent on Thyrsus and she has no siege magic, if you have the NG+ crests and DLC, Constance specifically is the best alternative.
