But yea the tool allowance is pretty much money I make doing side jobs, spend 1/3 on tools, 1/3 in the bank, 1/3 taking the wife to dinner because I was out all day making a mess.

Also my job would give me ramdom Amazon gift cards like $25-$50 at a time so those were always good for some German pliers or screwdrivers. And then other shit is impulse buys at Lowe’s when they have those yellow tape measures I like on clearance for $5.
