theres supposed to be a striker block that would prevent this. however, i believe it fails often. if you compare very early P320's to the latest ones, the striker block has been beefed up 2 or 3 times.
of course, sig will never announce new generations or revisions of the pistols. if you buy a used one, you have no idea what you're getting. Even brand new ones could be NOS (new old stock), there is zero assurance that you are getting a modern revision. And even if you get a fixed one, this is still a fully-tensioned striker fired pistol with no trigger-blade safety. It's questionable at best.
Dont buy a p320 guys.
