If people left then it hasn’t affected me because even before the update I only got rooms with 12-18 people and now I still do. While I do think people stepped away (or more likely are doing the discord lounge) I do think the people that actually dropped the game completely are not a large %.
Maybe it is my area but this is literally what I got when I went online right now
