Honestly, while I'm glad that all the whores and the insufferable fans they have are in pain right now, competition is good overall and keeps shit healthy. The fact that every single small corpo tends to implode in a cesspool of shit just makes me worry for Hololive.

I love Hololive but there's definitely things about it that I wish were better but every time I just get told "Oh be grateful you aren't Nijisanji or VShoujo" and yeah compared to literal doxxing, embezzlement, fraud, theft, etc, managers not getting permissions for games or even not getting visas in time for visiting talents is a minor issue but they're still things I wish Hololive would fix. And Hololive has zero incentive to improve if all their "competition" dies in a fucking fire. We lost like 7 talents in under a year and we still look rosy to everyone else, meanwhile I just wish the issues that forced those people to leave would be fixed.

Probably an over serious answer to an obvious catalog bait thread but there it is. I'm glad Hololive exists but I want it to be better, but as things are now, it could get worse by like 50% and still be vastly superior to the rest of the EN scene.
