I find it funny that they name their civilisation after a character that does a deal with the devil, gains luck and knowledge and gets sent to hell for eternity in the original story. It really parallels well with whites being normal like everyone else, then finding basically 3 continents full of gold and people living in the stone age, uses that money to takeover the rest of the world and industrialise. Now they're going to hell, just like Faust :)
