August is the most glaring example since its a title for Roman Imperators and a historial figure, Caeasar Augustus
January comes from Janus (the God of beginnings)
February is Month of Cleansings
March is named after Mars the God of War
April is after Apero the action of flowers opening their buds
May comes from the Greek goddess Maia and is related to fertility and springtime
June comes from Juno, the wife of God Jupiter and is the goddess of Marriage
July is the birth month of Julius Ceaser, the uncle of Augustus Caeasar
August was mentioned, but July and August used to be called Quintilus and Sextillus implying their month order
September and October as well as November and December come from the words for Seventh, Eight, Ninth and Tenth which was their original order, with November and December added after Romans already fell
