This accurate describes half this board. Nobody can make consistent substantial gains on crypto. You can throw everything into BTC and hope it never takes a nosedive. Everything else is more or less like playing slots. You might be part of the 1% that buy then sell at the exact right moment. You probably won't be. Citation: every other thread in /biz/ being a schizopost about an alt coin losing all its value overnight.

Just get a normal job, live below your means, and invest the excess in ETFs. Just about everything else ends with you sitting in your own piss and shit in state-funded retirement home.
