yeah. Their "meta capability" (which varies depending on the mode, since Arknights has quite a few ways of playing it now and they differ a lot) is only really scrutinized in the absolute hardest content, all of which is optional. The game besides those is really easy, you don't need any 6*'s to beat all the rewarded/main content at all.
