people usually go cremation with armageddon brand, idk about supports because i always use my mapping skill in acts. these days explosive concoction is all the rage (instead of arma + crema), idk if thats good on templar or if you need something specific on the tree to make it good, im not about that life
if you want to be faster as templar, mule a ranger to hillock. it gets you momentum for shield charge speed, some currency and a vendor refresh so you can get a b-b-b early
you can buy haste from lily in act6, thats a huge boost to shield charge speed if your build does enough damage

your gear in general is straight ass, wisdom scroll and look at more items. pick up blues / rares and sell them for transmute shards which you can sell for more wisdoms if needed
you REALLY need to have movespeed on boots. remember that haste scales with movespeed. always check vendor and unid every pair of boots to see if it has speed, craft if needed (10-14% movespeed craft unlocks at start of act 3, costs 3 augs)
also try to get gear with actual defenses on it, it makes a huge difference. help alira in campaign if you struggle with getting resists
and remove some excess gems, it makes it harder to swap gear. golem, clarity, flame wall, totem, summon phantasm, get that shit outta here

reserve some more mana, 50% is still very comfy to play. anger is best most of the time i believe, it adds a ton of flat at a time where your build doesnt have it. buy it in act 3 and swap to haste at act 6 if youre not doing library
