you don't understand. You don't understand the nature of reality and you don't understand the dynamic. It's not a case of 'why should I CHOOSE to worship this God' it's not a case of 'God should meet some standard or prove that he's worthy of worship' in fact it's not even really about worship at all. It just IS. It just IS reality. This is I think what almost all religions don't understand. It's not even about a reward and punishement system necessarily, this is how it's interpreted - it's cosmological. Like gravity or electromagnetism. Souls are REAL. Heaven, Hell and the other realms - I'm pretty sure it's not just as simple as these two - are LITERALLY REAL. God is LITERALLY, ACTUALLY just REAL. The Bible says that God's works are so self-evident and apparent but that people will just deny it anywhere; it's exactly like this.
God isn't even 'supposed' to do anything, he just IS. He's just THERE. You are rejecting the existence of God because of being wronged in childhood, having setbacks in life and such, having an emotional reaction, being motivated in LARPing non-belief like all athiests or anti-thiests. But God simply just IS. God is already at the non-intervention point, we're in the end times harvest now. The world is drowning in sin to apocalyptic levels and the people are choosing their fates. God didn't 'create' you directly, he's watching the wheels spin and how it all rolls out. I'm not even sure the divine body on the throne of Yahweh even CAN intervene as such at this point. God - capital G God - is the emanence whereas the kind of God you are imagining is not that simple.
The real nature of reality is likely far more mythological and strange but also more scientific in the way God works than you can conceive. I think GOD is an underlying mechanism while the realms as understood in the ancient way - paradise and Hell and such - as well as the throne and the Ancient of Days are physically real somewhere, like alien beings/dimensions.
