The clothing is what made me fall in love with this series. The fact that PM was able to make an in-universe reason as to why clothing was not just better than armor, but actually made a sort-of 'levelling' system in The City real was perfect. Alongside how they made the fashion and materials used a big part of why people look the way they are. And how you can wear almost anything alongside the various ways of getting stronger.
