Romantic love isn't real, let alone any form of unconditional love.

It's still a heartbreaking realization, and you'll eventually understand you would never be able to offer unconditional love to anyone either, or just eternally fake the hormone addled, hyperbolic attractions of your youth. I understand people around me more than ever, and I resent all of them and myself more everyday.
