I think the way Thiel is influencing the fascistic trajectory of capitalism and the United States is actually fucking fascinating and genius. It's like he's showing those corrupt hooligans that efficiency is the way or they will fall. Thiel is the only guy in the upper echelons of society who operates beyond the superficial dynamics of culture, and instead he recognizes the fiscal and exploitative potential of it; he's someone who isn't afraid to feed the red fat elephants a little to get his way. Unlike the widespread conception of him as a republican, I believe that he's secretly executing the progressive praxis against the odds of capitalism by participating in it and recognizing its inevitability. I believe he was the one who influenced JD Vance with moldbug's political theories, which if any of you are familiar with his work: I believe the neocameralist application has a lot of potential in mitigating the alien ethics of capital on the culturoeconomic scale, and that idea alone could pave way for a future where vast synthetic cultures are facilitated by capital. He has a sophisticated understanding of the simulative human landscape and I genuinely believe many people will be thanking his influence, for recognizing how we can still kind of negotiate with the inevitable future. He's not a popular guy right now but, he may very well be when our politics starts to change more drastically.
Discussions on this are criminally underdone, this shit cuts pretty deep into accelerationist philosophy and they might've been playing that specific card for the past 50 years out of pure capitalistic succession.
