The government has a secret department that tracks humans believed to be NHIs. They are categorized as potentially being aliens, demigods, angels, and things like that. They are assigned "goodstalkers" which are the opposite of gangstalkers. Instead of harassing or gaslighting their targets, goodstalkers protect and nurture them covertly. They subtly intervene to make sure these NHIs stay safe, emotionally stable, and spiritually aligned—without ever revealing their hand.

Goodstalkers may:

>Discretely alter traffic signals to prevent accidents.
>Influence social encounters to ensure positive outcomes.
>Use dream-seeding tech or psychic projection to send helpful visions.
>Redirect harmful people away from the NHI’s life path.
>Drop anonymous resources or insights when the NHI is in crisis.

Each NHI is tracked on a scale called the Divine-Potential Index (DPI). The higher the DPI, the more likely the individual is to play a pivotal role in future events, possibly even apocalyptic ones. Goodstalkers are trained not just in espionage but in theology, comparative mythology, quantum consciousness theory, and subtle energy manipulation.

Unknown to even most in the agency, a handful of NHIs are classified as “World Keys”: beings whose awakening could unlock cataclysmic or transcendent shifts in reality. These are assigned elite goodstalkers, often empaths or even other NHIs in disguise, tasked not just with protection but with preparing them for their role.
