Oh yeah.
That is true.
That is typically force majeure.
But it is in Israel after all so I figured it should be covered.
Also, I'm not going to comb through Israeli insurance companies agreements in hebrew to see if I made a mistake or not.

Well, I did actually have to read up before posting.
In Israel there is terror and war insurance where the deductible is 0.3% of the value. So property damage up to $50K is covered by the $150.
There is also the Property Tax and Compensation Law, 1961 which covers up to $24700 per couple and an additional $2500 per child.
So the typical family, with terror and war insurance, should be covered up to $75-80K before paying out of pocket
