where it’s obvious he absolutely loathes the Great Rebirth plan the Seven Deities had going on. His experience in the village definitely helped pushed him towards a more selfless direction. His belief of free will and rejection of worship in his fight against Chak solidified he’s pretty humble and heroic. Asura doesn’t care about worship or simple selfish pleasures like Augus did, he just wants to keep his family safe and make the world a safe place for his daughter to live and smile freely in.
