What frustrates me is just how it's constantly too much. It tries to completely over and out do everything the original did. It's just constant noise. The original does something, it's interesting but we quickly move on from it because we have a lot of ground to cover. The remake in turn will just take what the original did and make it a constant parade of spectacle. There's no subtly, no pacing. It's just endless flash and noise.
