Fuck it. While I'm between write-ups I'm going to talk about some past waifus. Starting with Asako.
D&D AU Asako would be a (part human) Deep Gnome, probably about 5 feet tall (before or after high heels?) But with all of her original curves, which would be even more pronounced at her size. She'd lean into this, dressing extravagantly (enchanted dwarven jewels aplenty, cleavage for miles) and acting the bouncy bimbo that she absolutely isn't.
Depending on starting level, she'd either be a Level 3 Gloom Stalker Ranger + Level 2 Bard (at level 5), Level 5 Gloom Stalker Ranger + Level 2 Bard (at level 7) or Ranger 5, Bard 3 (not sure on college), Fighter 2 at level 10.
She'd have the huge range of skills (Jack of all trades) to act the courtier, have the expertise (Expertise in Deception and Stealth) to keep up her facade of near blindness, and all the while she'd be capable of becoming literally invisible in darkness (against creatures with dark vision, so almost all) and starting combat with up to 7 attacks in her first turn at level 10. Add a level of Rogue to taste if you want to add Insight and Perception Expertise. Then take the Noble Background with Retainer feature for her handmaids/husband's concubines.
All that combined with charm magic and illusions because Bard.
Two levels of monk if you want her to be able to add yet another attack to that opening turn through Flurry of Blows.
Optimised? No. Cool? Yes.
