My gf threw a tantrum yesterday because i caught her texting a guy and tried dumping her and kicked my new trucks windshield from the inside and shattered it. my truck is a 2024, i looked up prices today and a generic windshield is like $300 but one from the dealer is close to $1000.

Should i just get the generic one? or is there a difference in glass quality
