anons...its ok to be disappointed in world, right? like i still think its a good mk don't get me wrong, the new mechanics are cool, the new models are (mostly) a huge improvement, the costumes are cool, and the open world would be cool on PAPER but so many of the intermissions aren't very good. The tracks themselves are great though with some misses but I feel like everything surrounding them could have been done way better.

>Literally no reward for doing well in the cups or the rallies
>No way to sort through time trial times
>battle mode is mid again, balloon battle elimination is cool but no timer customization is awful
>open world has nothing tying everything together, its just aimless collecting. I would have appreciated a short story or something, similar to diddy kong racing. oh well
>horrible unlock methods for the npc characters. they should have just tied them to the open world or went the mkwii approach with unlockables instead of locking them behind a rare item.
