Pretty much. Any trans woman I talk to on Grindr (who actually responds to my opening message) inevitably asks for a dick pic. I tell her I'm not comfortable doing that, and then I get blocked.

I hate Grindr so much, but it's been the only reliable way of finding local tranners.
