I like the people of Britain. They have that strong Celtic background and culture. They have resisted the Roman Empire, Saxons, Normans etc. They are strong, resilient people. All those empires have fallen or even the Norman/Saxon kings have just become some kind of tourist attraction.
They are more than the judeo-christian trappings of pity and punishment. Their culture and beliefs transcend such basic abrahamic beliefs.
Having praised them, they also have this tendency of tribalism. Not working with each other or speaking to their neighbors. They sometimes develop this kind of defeatist attitude and feel like they can't do anything.
Once they learn to shake those things off, they can deal with the current crisis in a way that will make their country and culture stronger. Keep your guys heads up.
