Zeta is a show you'll either love or hate. It's brilliantly animated, but incredibly frustrating and depressing at times. Watching it won't make you feel good, basically. It's not pure despair porn like Victory or Ideon, but it's close, especially compared to the more upbeat 0079.
The movies are not a good substitution for the actual show, they changed the ending in particular.
