Buying games and products online would probably require PayPal or Google/Apple pay, which would be nice to not use as well.

Is it impossible to buy stuff in a lot of places in USA without cash or Visa/MasterCard?
Cash is impossible in most places here in Sweden, basically just works for groceries or alcohol.
